The virtue of Ramadan and the Night of Laylat al-Qadar

Ramadan is a month that has the greatest virtue for Muslims among the eleven other months.  This month, Muslims are required to fast according to the word of God:

"O believers, fasting is required for you as it was given to those before you so that you fear" (Q.S Al-Baqarah: 183)

The virtue of Ramadan and the Night of Laylat al-Qadar

Ramadan is the month when the Qur'an is revealed, the door of the surge is opened, the door of hell is closed, and the devil is shackled.  With the magnitude of the Ramadan privilege, which Muslims are not happy.  The moon is full of His mercy and forgiveness.  This is as stated in the Hadith Bukhari:

"When Ramadan arrives, the door of the surge is opened, the door of hell is closed, and the devil is shackled."

The scholars glorify the month of Ramadan by dividing into 3 time dimensions for 10 days of Ramadan, namely:
  • 10 days early Ramadan
  • 10 days middle of Ramadan
  • 10 days end of Ramadan
As an event, the top event will only be at the end of the event.  Similarly, the month of Ramadan.  This holy month has a peak at the end of the 10th of Ramadan, especially with the night of Laylat al-Qadr, the night on which the Koran and knowledge are revealed.  Better nights than 1000 months.

The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was very privileged today.  On this day, the Prophet became more enthusiastic in worshiping, Qiyamullail (evening prayers), reading the Koran, dhikr, praying, and praying to Allah Subhanallahuta’ala.  In addition, the Prophet was very focused on his worship in the last 10 days.

Primacy of Laylat al-Qadr

God alludes to the night of Laylat al-Qadr not only in one verse, but up to one letter, namely Al-Qadar.

"Verily, we sent down the Qur'an on the night of Laylat al-Qadr, do you know what the Laylat al-Qadr night is?  The Night of Laylat al-Qadr is better than a thousand months, on that night descend the angels and Gabriel with the permission of Allah their Lord (to bring) all usrusan, good night until the dawn rises. "[Al-Qadar: 1-5]

And that night explained all the affairs that are full of wisdom.

"Indeed, We sent him down one blessed night and in fact We were the ones giving the warning.  That night explained all the affairs that were full of wisdom, (that is) a large affair from Our side.  Verily, We are All-hearing, All-Knowing [Ad-Dukhan: 3-6]
