The story of the Prophet when he hurt his eyes and the doctor who treated him

Imam Ibn al-Jauzi mentioned that the Prophet Muhammad.  had seepage or eye disease at the age of 7.  He was treated in Mecca, but there was no effective treatment there.  Abdul Muttallib, the Prophet's grandfather, also received advice from local residents.  "Mr. Abdul Muthallib, in the Ukaz area there is a monk, a Christian priest, who is good at treating eye diseases.  Try to visit him, "said local residents.

Ukaz is the most famous ancient market in the Arabian Peninsula.  The name is taken from what Arabs do in that place, they show off their achievements and ancestors.  The market was recorded for the first time in 500 BC.  The market is located between Ta'if and Makkah, precisely in the city of Al-Athdia.

The Prophet's grandfather hurried to the monk.  Upon arrival at his destination, Abdul Muthallib called out to the monk whose house was locked.  "Monk, help cure my grandson's illness," Abdul Muthallib's pleading remarks while knocking on the locked door.

Long time no response, grandfather of the Prophet was rather disappointed and almost returned to Mecca.  Syahdan, shortly after that, suddenly the monk came out hurriedly.  "Eh, there is you Abdul Muttallib," the monk said, struggling.  "My house was shaking, almost collapsed.  If only I hadn't come out to meet you, I would have been buried by the ruins of my house, "explained the monk.

"Your grandson is the Prophet of the people of today.  Take care of him, and no one will be able to kill him.  Take him home and drink this concoction, "explained the monk to Abdul Muttallib after treating the Prophet.

In another narration, the monk opened his sahifah.  He told Abdul Muttallib, the medicine for Muhammad's eye pain was his own saliva.  "Abdul Muttallib, every time I treat patients with eye problems, surely I swear to God to be blessed with the name of your grandchild," the monk explained to the grandfather of the Prophet.
